If, like us, you’ve been glued to local radio stations for the last few weeks to see whether your child’s school is open then this site is for you.  If you keep setting the alarm clock, getting ready and dropping your child off at school on time only to find that they’re closed for a training day then we have everything you need right here.

This web site is very much an ongoing project with more and more information becoming available as and when we sign up new partners and new information providers.  However, the ultimate aim is to have a single reference site for all information on school closures for all schools within the UK.  Whether you want to check term dates, training days or whether the school is open due to adverse events (such as snow!) then you need only visit one place.
